Incident at Churchill, MB

Summary

1999-08-30: CMM 726, an A330 with 345 people on board, was enroute from Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam to Calgary and was about 70 miles southwest of Churchill when the crew reported that there was an incident of air rage on the a/c. They advised that they were going to divert to Churchill and requested RCMP assistance. The flight landed safely in Churchill at 2340Z and airport staff escorted the RCMP to the a/c and off-loaded the individual. It was reported that the man may have been intoxicated.
