Incident at Winnipeg, MB

Summary

2000-03-17: The pilot of C-FIPK, a Piper Aztec, landed on Runway 18 at Winnipeg International Airport, turned onto Papa taxi and informed the Tower the aircraft had a flat tire. The APM attended with a mule and spare, repaired the tire and began towing the aircraft to the apron. While enroute across Runway 25 at the Fox intersection, the aircraft became unhooked from the mule and fell on its nose. A maintenance lift was then used to lift the nose onto the dolly and they continued to the apron. No one on board the aircraft, unknown damage, no aircraft inconvenienced.
