Incident at 25 NM S of Ekati, NT


1999-08-24: C-GPSH, a C-54, was in cruise flight south of Ekati when the number 4 engine began to backfire. The crew secured the engine and landed uneventfully at Yellowknife. Maintenance carried out a valve adjustment and returned the a/c to service. OPI - System Safety
