Incident at Whitehorse, YT

Summary

1999-08-20: The aircraft had departed Whitehorse VFR to Faro. Shortly after reaching 10,000 feet the pilot reported that he had lost his engine and was in descent and had declared an emergency. Radio contact was lost however was established at 02:35Z on frequency 126.7 where the pilot advised he had gotten the engine restarted and was returning to Whitehorse where an uneventful landing was accomplished.
