Incident at 10 Mi N or Granum, AB


1999-08-20: The pilot and only occupant of the G-164A Mark II Grumman was conducting a first pass on a field when he reported experiencing a microburst. The aircraft descended into a single wire, the wire broke however the aircraft was able to return to the base where aircraft examination indicated only minor damage. The pilot reported that he noted the wind direction had switched just prior to the occurrence. OPI - System Safety
