Incident at Approx. 50 miles north of Calgary, AB

Summary

1999-08-16: The aircraft had been cleared to 16,000 feet but descended to 15,300. The controller recleared the aircraft to 15,000 feet and descended to 14,700. The controller reminded the pilot the cleared altitude was 15,000 feet and the aicraft climbed to 17,000 feet at which time the pilot informed the controller that they were experiencing computer problems. IFR separation with any other aircraft was never infringed upon. Discussed the events with the Captain after the aircraft had landed who indicated he had reported the difficulties and the aircraft was being checked over before going to Europe.
