Incident at Winnipeg, MB

Summary

1999-08-03: CFC 341, a CC-130 Hercules, was doing a local VFR training flight at Winnipeg (YWG) when the crew declared an emergency because of a hydraulic failure. The flight was able to return to YWG and land safely on Runway 31 but was unable to taxi due to the loss of nosewheel steering. The a/c was towed off the runway about 15 minutes later with no inconvenience to other a/c. OPI - System Safety
