Accident at Anvil Range, YT

Summary

1999-07-26: It was reported that C-FIXV, a Piper PA-12 on floats, was taxiing on a lake in the Anvil Range when a gust of wind lifted the wing and casued the a/c to strike trees on the shoreline. There is apparently substantial damage to one wing of the a/c and no reported injuries. TSB has been informed and more information will be available. OPI - System Safety
