Incident at Saskatoon, SK

Summary

1999-07-29: The pilot of C-FKDE, an Air Tractor, was taxiing in after completing a circuit at Saskatoon and the a/c became disabled at the intersection of Alpha and Bravo Taxiways due to a brake problem. The a/c was subsequently towed to a hangar. No other a/c were inconvenienced. OPI - Maintenance and Manufacturing UPDATE M. & M. reported that they contacted the AMO ( Westwind ) that looked at Air Tractor C-FKDE after the brake problem occured. There was no fault found with the a/c brake system. When the brakes cooled sufficiently the system function checked normal. The a/c was taxiing for a long distance in a cross-wind and the operator overheated the brakes.
