Incident at Churchill, MB

Summary

1999-07-09: WSG 806, a HS 748, was inbound to Churchill from Arviat when the crew reported that the a/c had lost its hydraulics and would not have brakes on landing. The crew landed the a/c and came to a stop with 3,000 feet left on the runway. The a/c was subsequently towed to Apron 1. No other a/c were inconvenienced. OPI - Maintenance and Manufacturing (referred to Ontario Region) UPDATE TSB reported that the company informed them of a ruptured landing gear hydraulic line.
