Incident at Saskatoon, SK

Summary

1999-06-25: C-GNOV, a Piper Navajo, departed Saskatoon for Lynn Lake at 1238Z with 8 people on board and shortly after takeoff, the pilot reported a rough engine. He returned and landed uneventfully at 1245Z. The nature of the engine problem is not yet known. TSB indicated that they will contact the operator. OPI - System Safety UPDATE TSB reported that the engine surging was the result of a partially-blocked fuel injector. The injectors were cleaned and the a/c returned to service.
