Incident at Calgary, AB

Summary

1999-06-21: CNX 501, a B727, was on the downwind leg for Runway 28 at Calgary after a flight from Vancouver, when the crew reported a hydraulic problem. They requested an immediate landing, so the a/c was turned toward the runway and preceding traffic was vectored out of the way. The flight landed without further incident with ERS on standby. ERS staff reported that the a/c was leaking fluid on the ground. Several arriving a/c within the Terminal area were delayed, as were others that were held at fixes waiting for the ocurrence to be completed.
