Incident at Prince Albert, SK

Summary

1999-06-14: ASK 700, a BAe Jetstream 31, was flight planned IFR from Prince Albert to La Ronge via Victor 303 at 16,000 feet. The crew requested their clearance through Prince Albert FSS and were cleared as filed except to maintain 5,000 feet and to expect higher. After departure, the flight was observed on radar climbing through 8,000 feet. The Sector Controller advised the crew of the altitude restriction and they acknowledged. The flight was re-cleared to 14,000 feet. There were no conflicts with other a/c. OPI - Enforcement
