Accident at Lloyd Lake, SK


1999-06-09: C-GYYE, a Cessna 172 with 3 people on board, was on a VFR cross-country flight from Fort McMurray to Lloyd Lake and back. On departure from Lloyd Lake on a soft runway surface, the a/c became airborne but then drifted to the left into some trees and nosed over at slow speed. The three occupants were not injured, but the a/c is reported to be substantially damaged. OPI - System Safety
