Incident at 25 NM S of Watson Lake, YT


1999-06-02: N1692Z, a Bellanca Citabria, was on a VFR flight from Fort Nelson to Watson Lake (YQH) and was 25 miles south of YQH when the right door opened and struck the right wing. The window was damaged and the wing scraped and dented. The pilot declared an emergency and the a/c landed safely at YQH at 0020Z. The pilot's wife sustained a small cut on her forehead, but did not require hospitalization. OPI - System Safety
