Incident at Vicinity of Lumsden, SK

Summary

1999-06-01: CDR 1412, an F28 with 33 people on board, was enroute from Calgary to Winnipeg and near Lumsden when the crew reported a hydraulic problem. The Captain advised that the flight would divert to Saskatoon, where it arrived safely at 1940Z. CFR was not required. TSB has been informed and more information may be available. OPI - System Safety UPDATE TSB reported that the crew noticed that the main hydraulic system fluid was low. On company advice, they decided to divert to Saskatoon. Maintenance discovered a loose hydraulic fitting.
