Incident at Calgary, AB


1999-05-27: ACA 218, a DC-9, was on approach to Runway 34 at Calgary when the a/c struck a bird at 600 feet AGL. The a/c was not damaged and landed safely. (This incident occurred March 1, but was just reported through Aerodrome Safety by Calgary Airports, which has an ongoing wildlife control program). OPI - System Safety
