Incident at 14 NM W of Whitehorse, YT


1999-05-19: The pilot of N8727S, a Fairbanks-based Cessna 150, was on a VFR flight west of Whitehorse when he informed Whitehorse FSS that he was making a precautionary landing on the Alaska Highway because of deteriorating weather. The a/c landed safely and the RCMP were notified to attend the site. The pilot was able to depart later when VFR conditions permitted on a VFR flight plan to Dawson and Northway, AK.
