Incident at Island Lake, MB


1999-05-04: MNS 205, a Beech 1900, departed from Island Lake on an IFR flight to Winnipeg without contacting FSS. There were 2 other a/c in the vicinity at the time. The pilot of MNS 205 later reported that he was broadcasting on 126.7 and did not realise that he was not making the required calls on 122.2, the MF.
