Incident at 45 NM N of Swift Current, SK

Summary

1999-04-26: The pilot of C-FLIN, a Piper Navajo, was enroute from Edmonton to Regina and 45 miles north of Swift Current when he heard a MAYDAY call on 126.7. He heard the type of a/c as a Cessna 150 but was unable to make out the registration. The information was passed to RCC Trenton and Winnipeg ACC. Other overflying a/c listened on 126.7 and 121.5 but no additional broadcasts were heard. There was no ELT signal and there have been no reported missing a/c. OPI - System Safety
