Incident at Saskatoon, SK (Aerodrome, runway or taxiway shutdown)

Summary

1999-04-19: The pilot of C-FFCH, a Cessna 402, landed on Runway 27 at Saskatoon at 0128Z and both main tires blew on landing. It is suspected that the brakes were frozen at the time. The runway was closed for about an hour and twenty minutes while the a/c could be removed. TSB have been informed and more information may be available. OPI - System Safety
