Incident at Winnipeg, MB

Summary

1999-04-15: ACA 830, a DC-9, was enroute from Winnipeg to Chicago and near Duluth when the crew reported to Minneapolis ACC that they had received an intermittent unsafe gear indication. They decided to return to Winnipeg, where the flight landed without incident at 1306Z with ERS on standby. TSB has been advised and more information will be available. OPI - System Safety UPDATE TSB reported that maintenance found a faulty landing gear proximity switch. The switch was replaced and the a/c released to service.
