Incident at Winnipeg, MB

Summary

1999-03-31: ACA 138, an A319, was enroute from Vancouver to Ottawa and near Kenora when the crew reported an on-board medical emergency. They requested to divert to Winnipeg and asked that an ambulance with life-support equipment be available. The passenger was exhibiting signs of hypoglycemia and heart arrythmia. The flight landed at YWG at 0506Z and was met by the ambulance at the gate. No other a/c were inconveneienced. OPI - System Safety
