Incident at Calgary, AB

Summary

1999-03-23: GLR 730, a Beech 1900 with 21 people on board, was on approach to Runway 16 at Calgary when the crew requested CFR because they were having difficulty controlling the a/c. The flight landed safely and was escorted to the apron by the CFR vehicles. After the runway was inspected, it was re-opened for traffic. The crew reported later that the problem was a trim problem. Impact to airport operations was minimal because the airport was under flow restrictions. TSB has been informed and more information may be available.
