Incident at Yellowknife, NT

Summary

1999-03-15: On takeoff from Yellowknife with 19 people on board, the crew of C-GDUL, a HS 748, were unable to retract the flaps. They burned off sufficient fuel to get down to the maximum landing weight and returned to make an uneventful landing. The reason for the flap failure is not known.
