Incident at Between Saskatoon, SK and Edmonton, AB


1999-03-08: While in cruise flight at FL 260 between Saskatoon and Edmonton, the B737 encountered light turbulence and the crew requested descent to FL 240. Shortly after, an encounter with severe turbulence threw a flight attendant into a seat area, injuring her tail bone, right leg and left arm. The flight attendant was relieved from further duty after arrival at Edmonon. OPI - System Safety
