Incident at Thompson, MB

Summary

1999-02-25: The pilot of C-FYOT, a Piper Comanche, was on approach to Thompson after a VFR flight from Oxford House when he reported an unsafe gear indication. He did a fly-by of the FSS and it appeared that the gear was fully down. Prior to landing on Runway 05, the pilot advised that the gear indicator was now showing down and locked. The pilot landed without further incident at 2359Z. OPI - System Safety
