Incident at Vicinity of Wainwright, AB

Summary

1999-02-02: ACA 844, an A340, had departed Calgary (YYC) for Frankfurt with 111 people on board and was near Wainwright when the crew observed a door open indication. They requested descent to 10,000 feet and clearance back to YYC, where the flight landed uneventfully at 0241Z. No ERS equipment was required.
