Incident at Calgary, AB

Summary

1999-01-12: C-GABP, a DHC-8, was on approach to Runway 34 at Calgary with 32 people on board when the a/c encountered severe turbulence for about two seconds. There were no injuries and the a/c did not exceed maneuvering speed. The flight landed without further incident. Reported winds at the time were from 350 degrees at 24 gusting to 30 knots.
