Incident at 50 NM Northeast Sydney


1999-10-28: ARN823 DH8 enroute Deer Lake to Halifax when approximately 50 miles East of Sydney the # 1 Engine Oil Pressure started indicating "Low". The crew secured the engine advised ATC and request clearance to Sydney. Aircraft landed without incident. Maintenance replaced the Prop Actuator and returned the aircraft to service.
