Incident at Sydney NS

Summary

1999-10-08: ANU304 SW3 shortly after departure from Sydney, the pilot declared an emergency due to indication of Engine Oil Overheating. Flight was cleared back to point of departure and landed without further incident. TSB Case closed. Update: Maintenance inspected the aircraft and located a Broken Wire at the Oil Temperature sensor canon plug. The wire was repaired and the aircraft returned to service. TSB file # A99A0137
