Incident at Saint John NB


1999-10-04: CGCVE BE20 departing runway 20 Saint John SID # 2 climb to 4000 feet. Aircraft departed 2005z and at 2006z aircraft was observed in a turn to the right which potentially conflicted with a southbound aircraft descending to 3000 feet. CGCVE reported on the frequency at 3200 feet climbing to 4000 feet. The controller asked if the pilot had turned off the runway heading and the pilot replied "Negative". The controller asked the current heading of the aircraft and the pilot stated 360. There was no loss of separation. Nil TSB
