Incident at Fredericton NB

Summary

1999-09-07: ACA640 CARJ landing Fredericton NB reported a bright spotlight as they turned Final for Runway 33. This caused temporary blindness for the pilots. FSS informed RCMP who advised they would check the area. Gagetown Range controller was contacted and determined that the only lights in the area that were known were downward facing lights at a gravel pit. No other aircraft affected. Aircraft landed without further incident. NIL TSB
