Accident at Bridgetown NS

Summary

1999-09-03: CFZDZ MURPHY REBEL Ultralight shortly after take-off the aircraft's right wing dropped and the aircraft started sliding to the right and losing altitude. The pilot's attempt to lift the right wing by moving the control stick to the left were unsuccessful. The aircraft continued to descend and came to rest after striking a pole. The pilot was uninjured. The passenger received minor injuries. The pilot believes that the right wing stalled. TSB case closed TSB file # A99A0116
