Incident at Gander Oceanic


1999-08-11: N9122N PA46 on a TransAtlantic Ferry requested descent from FL240 to FL200 due rough running engine. At 1600z during descent to FL200 the pilot declared a Mayday due to decreased manifold pressure, the Vacuum driven attitude indicator failed and the pilot dis-connected the autopilot. At 1650z the piot reported that the aircraft was operating normally. The aircraft continued safely to Goose Bay. TSB file # A99A0102
