Summary

1999-08-12: ICN2201 F28 departing Halifax rejected take-off when in position runway 33 after a pilot taxiing behind reported Blue Smoke coming from one of the engines. Aircraft taxied to apron and advised he would keep the flight plan open. TSB evaluating Update: The Captain reported that he suspected that they had experienced a compressor stall. An examination of the engine did not reveal any discrepancies. The aircraft was returned to service and there has been no reoccurrence of the problem. TSB file # A99A0105
