Summary

1999-08-05: Aircraft FL350 progressed 59N60W at 1126Z, estimating 64N50W at 1216Z. At 1139Z Pilot requested descent to FL290 due to an electrical problem. They had to used APU which also was not functioning properly. At 1157Z they advised severe electrical problem, one functioning generator. A mayday was declared , aircraft descended to FL285 turning right direct GooseBay. Aircraft landed at 1317Z. Aircraft was enroute Tampa to Frankfurt.
