Accident at GooseBay

Summary

1999-07-22: Aircraft had been flying locally and had returned for landing. Upon touchdown the landing gear broke and the wheel assembly departed the aircraft. Aircraft came to rest with left wing low after travelling approximately 100 ft. The pilot and the passenger exited the aircraft without injury, picked up the tire and dragged the aircraft off the runway. Pilot did not declared an emergency, he only requested servicing assistance. Aircraft was moved into a hangar where it is being repaired. Weather at the time was VMC.
