Summary

1999-07-16: DAL135 B767 enroute New York to Shannon declared an Emergency due Engine Overheat. Flight started emergency descent and requested clearance to Gander. ATC advised that St. John's was close and flight diverted to St. John's. Flight landed safely 0259z with ERS standing by. TSB case closed.
