Incident at Halifax Intl (Aerodrome - other)

Summary

1999-07-14: CDN939 B737 was observed, by the field foreman, to ingest a piece of plastic similar to a garbage bag into the left engine. The pilot was advised and he completed a run-up on a taxiway followed by a full power run-up on the runway. During the run-up, debris was observed ejecting from the rear of the engine. The pilot declared the engine operating normally and departed at 1121z. TSB Case Closed.
