Incident at Halifax Intl


1999-06-08: GAA340 SAAB340 was on a visual approach Runway 24 at Halifax when pilot requested a delay to fix a minor problem. At 4 miles final, pilot requested ERS to Stand by. Aircraft landed safely 2215z and advised that problem was due to "Split Flap" TSB Case Closed. Update: Maintenance replaced the Flap Position Indicator and returned the aircraft to service.
