Incident at Lewis Lake, Labrador

Summary

1999-05-21: Bell 212 enroute Hopedale to Goosebay was forced to land due to a shortage of fuel and weather conditions at the time. Halifax RCC was advised of missing aircraft and dispatched a C130 to offer assistance. Distress helicopter was located, refuelled and returned to base on the next day with the assistance of another company aircraft. Nil TSB
