Accident at Near St. Quentin NB

Summary

1999-05-04: CICUW Beaver RX550 Ultralight with pilot and passenger on board was observed circling over the strip at Menneval at an altitude of aprx 200 feet then suddenly nosing over and descending to the ground. Evidence at the site indicates that the aircraft struck the ground in a nose down near vertical attitude. The aircraft was destroyed and the two occupants sustained serious injuries. TSB Case closed.
