Incident at St. John's NF (Aerodrome property - death/injury)

Summary

1999-04-13: ACA861B767 de-planing at St. John's when a gap appeared between the door sill and the airstairs. A five year old child fell through the gap to the apron below. The child suffered a broken arm and lacerations to the head. Remained in hospital for a few days of observation. TSB investigating - file # A99A0046 Revised to reflect injury on Airport property. Update: Correction on status of TSB file (Not a case closed as previously stated).
