Summary

1999-02-05: VIR027 B747 enroute London to Orlando reported shutting down # 2 engine due to power surges. Aircraft commenced an offset descent to FL270. During descent, a loss of Lateral separation occurred with CDN83 DC10 at FL320 same track as VIR027. VIR027 elected to return London and was recleared at FL270. TSB case closed file # A99A0017.
