Incident at Gander Oceanic

Summary

1999-02-04: E6195 C141 Starlifter FL350 enroute Keflavik to Andrews AFB encountered severe turbulence. The crew declared an emergency and carried out a contingency descent to FL320. During descent a loss of separation occurred with KLM665 B747 FL320. Lateral separation between the two aircraft was 45 miles where 60 miles was required. TSB case closed. TSB file # A99A0013
