Incident at St. John's NF

Summary

1999-01-18: SPR01 BE20 on fishery patrol had a loss of communication (VHF) company advised ATC that SPR01 would be returning and arranged for clearance to be issued through company radio. While inbound, flight reestablished communications with ATC and advised of Red light on landing gear. Pilot request ERS stand-by. Flight landed safely 1301Z. TSB evaluating.
