Incident at Thunder Bay, Ont.

Summary

1997-09-26: Mesaba3226 overshot runway at Thunder Bay at 0245z. The pilot indicated that he had a problem with the left main gear indicator. After being given some time to assess the situation the pilot was vectored for final approach for runway 07. ERS was on standby. The flight landed safely at 0315z. There was 3 CREW, 9 PASSENGERS, and 800 LBS of fuel. After landing the pilot apparently determined that the problem was a faulty bulb in the landing gear indicator.
