Incident at THUNDER BAY ON (CYQT)

Summary

1997-04-02: Initial information from T.S.B. Initial Notification (#A97C0048): After engine start up, the Flight Attendant noticed smoke coming from behind the First Officer's circuit breaker panel. The Flight Attendant notified the Captain, who shut down the #3 generator. The smoke subsided, the engines were shut down and the passengers deplaned. Maintenance conducted an inspection and a local test flight but the fault could not be reproduced. The aircraft was released into service and the flight to Toronto (LBPIA) was completed without incident. Ops. impact -- unknown.
