Summary

1997-02-21: CDN87 was IFR inbound to Toronto from the Simcoe fix, on radar vectors for a south downwind for runway 06R. CDN87 was cleared to descend to 6000' by the arrival controller, a trainee monitored by a supervisor controller. The flight crews did not received a TCAS RA and CDN87 reported having the DC-9 in sight. Ops. Impact -- unknown. From a TSB Initial Notification. NAV CANADA will conduct a FFB.
